Welcome to Chapter 3 –
the part of the book when the story gets interesting!
ABOUT
There's no Google Maps for Growth
I’ve spent my career working with start-up companies in a variety of technology subsectors. Reflecting on all of the major milestones and success stories of which I’ve been a part, the chapters I’ve loved the most are the foundational ones; when the ideas, products, or services are compelling or a challenge has arisen and you find yourself asking, “OK, now what?”
I’m here to help you answer that question and then act on it.
Helping start-ups & small businesses overcome obstacles & avoid potholes on the winding road to success.
With over a decade of experience, and countless lessons learned, I’m excited to work with like-minded folks to help navigate the many obstacles that come with growth.

When Shit Goes Sideways
Super Skill: Noodling*
Noodle: verb, "to noodle" - means to think about, contemplate, ponder, puzzle over, or brainstorm.
Above all, we consider ourselves great problem solvers. When facing a challenge in which the only choices aren’t ideal or simply don’t work, my answer is always to find a more creative solution. Noodling-out a problem is innate to me and is a major attribute that I bring to any situation - but especially complex and difficult ones.
HOW WE WORK
Trust the Process
We’re big believers in ‘fit’ when it comes to working relationships. The easiest (and most effective) way to determine if working together is going to be a good fit is usually as simple as getting together to become acquainted - either on Zoom or in person.
The best (and most enjoyable) way to do that is to grab 1 of the 4 main food groups; a cup of coffee, a pint of beer, or a glass of wine. We’re no strangers to a plane and often find ourselves in other cities on the regular, so location is no boundary to hydration.
More than anything, my passion is for people and getting to know them… and hopefully being able to help them.
PS: for anyone who is counting, the 4th food group is water… but the hospitality industry doesn’t always appreciate a water date. Get in touch if you feel parched.
The Team
While I’m usually the one rolling my sleeves up and getting into the weeds with clients, I have the support of a team with expertise in marketing, PR, sales, and business operations - and we are fortunate to have a strong and diverse network of professionals that I can leverage or refer when needed. Some of these areas include local and international professionals in the following areas:
Graphic Design
Website Development
SEO & Paid/Digital Marketing
Branding & Advertising
Photography
Security-Specific Products & Services
Additionally, let me introduce C3’s other full-time employee, George — Executive Assistant.
George has a proven track record of being a good boy and consistent office dog. Key attributes include: loyalty, punctuality, and vibe reading.
TESTIMONIALS
What Clients Are Saying
-
“When I decided to launch my business, MJ was one of my first calls. She took my ideas and turned them into strategy, plans, and execution. Her ability to capture what I wanted & deliver what I needed enabled me to focus on my business and what I do best.
MJ's energy and mastermind problem solving skills are a rarely found combination; when I have a problem that needs solving or need another perspective on a business initiative or idea, she’s my go-to. I trust her judgement, expertise, and I know she’ll get sh*t done. I have recommended MJ to many entrepreneurs already and will continue to do so as long as she lets me!”

“C3 helped me plan an editorial and social media strategy for my start up. As a solopreneur it’s an understatement to say running a business can be overwhelming! They worked with me at my own pace, according to my needs and limits, and helped me achieve real growth through realistic strategies. So glad my friend recommended them to me! ”

“We needed to develop strong branded collateral to communicate our value to prospects and strategic partners. MJ worked to understand our business and go-to-market strategy to build and organize the most effective communication strategy.
We were able to create a sales-ready brochure, sales deck, and a case study specific to a niche market opportunity. These tools have proven to be effective and have structural value for building new documents in the future.
MJ and I were efficient with our time together and I think she did an excellent job, with what little we had, bringing us to that next level in our journey. I would highly recommend working with MJ on a similar project and would be interested in another project with her as we continue to grow.”
